Get ready to celebrate Diwali with our FREE Rangoli colouring in sheet!

Diwali is known as the Festival Of Lights and is one of the most well-known festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists. Diwali - also known as Deepavali and Divali - generally lasts five days and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika (mid-October-mid-November).

During Diwali, women and children will decorate their homes with diyas (oil lamps) and rangolis (colourful art patterns made from rice flour, coloured rice/sand and flower petals). Boys and men also decorate soaces using string lights and lanterns.

STEP 1

Download and print out the Rangoli Colouring Sheet. We recommend you print onto cover paper - this will provide a great surface for decorating.

STEP 2

Use markers, pencils or paint to add bright colours to the Rangoli. Allow to dry if needed.

STEP 3

Cut out your Rangoli. Supervision is recommended when using scissors. Your Rangoli is now ready to display for Diwali!
