Hand Painted Easter Papier Mache Basket
Brush up on your painting skills as you transform a plain Papier Mache Basket into an Easter masterpiece. Perfect for gifting or for brightening up a room or Easter display.
These baskets can be decorated in a number of ways. Use the steps below as a decorative guide and mix up the techniques to create a unique combination of your own!
STEP 1
Paint your basket white and then in a bright colour. Allow to dry between layers. You may wish to leave a white space on the front panel for an Easter message.
STEP 2
Add a pattern to the sides of your basket. Look to ours for inspiration or come up with your own pattern. Allow to dry.
STEP 3
Add detail to your design using black paint and a fine paint brush. You can also add in your Easter message to the front of your basket now if you wish.
STEP 4
Add some brightly coloured tissue paper to the basket.
STEP 5
Your Hand Painted Easter Papier Mache Basket is now ready to gift or display.
