These talented artists have collaborated with us to create resources that inspire and raise awareness of Aboriginal culture and history.

When planning activities that draw on Indigenous culture, Wisdom Activities™ encourages you to connect with Aboriginal Communities in your local area. A great first step is to contact your local Aboriginal Land Council. Working together with the appropriate cultural owners helps ensure any creative or art-making experiences are undertaken with respect and care.

Kerri-Ann Taggart | Digital Artist

Kerri-Ann Taggart, most commonly known as KEZ, is an Indigenous, Wonnarua digital artist from the Hunter Valley.

She’s been creating art for as long as she can remember, and most of her free time is dedicated to developing her illustration and drawing skills. Michelle Earl | Artist and Basket Weaver

As a proud Darkinjung woman with Wonnarua ties, Michelle has a personal connection to the Hunter Valley, where she teaches and celebrates the traditional Aboriginal culture of the Communities.

"Our land, our people, our spiritual world is connected by our Elders passing their knowledge, skills and stories onto both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples so that it is not forgotten". If you are interested in Michelle's workshops, you can learn more here.

Belle Leonard | Artist & Graphic Designer

Belle is an Aboriginal artist from the Hunter Valley.

She is an artist and graphic designer and has enjoyed making art in all kinds of mediums her whole life. Her art varies from Aboriginal paintings and digital art, to oil paintings and hand embroidery. In her free time, she loves to make art for her friends and family, learn new creative skills, and play with her dogs. Belle loves art and design, athletics, music, and cute animals.
